Take one ride on the WR450F and you’ll see the answer
is “both”. Getting phenomenal thrust out of
a modern 450 fourstroke is not hard. The part that demands
engineering skill and expertise is making the monster
eat out of your hand …without biting it off. The
WR450F is one such beast. |

You
can’t go fast without the full package, and with
a 2007 WR250F, total performance is exactly what you get.
It starts with a brand new aluminium frame with
tuned flex quotients (explained overleaf), and a more
upright cylinder angle. From the saddle that translates
to superb handling, more comfort, less fatigue and a truer
rider/machine interface. |

Anyone can enjoy off-road riding. From youngsters
to oldsters and all those in between, there's a Yamaha
fun bike for everyone. Rugged, reliable and featuring
the build quality for which Yamaha machines are famous,
these bikes are loaded with the highperforming off-road
technology that only Yamaha can offer. |
 |
Throw a set of pure dirt tyres on it and a wily hand on
the throttle, and you'll be surprised at the calibre of
bike and rider you can terrorise in tight scrub on this
former national enduro championship winner. The TT-R250
is fully at home with some expression of aggression. |

Yamaha Motor Australia has launched a road legal version
of its popular and reliable TT-R230 dirt bike. Full lighting
kit, indicators and mirrors now mean the TT-R230A complies
to Australian Design Regulations and can be ridden on
the road plus join the fun on the trails. |
 |
One look at the TT-R230's pure Yamaha racing colours and
YZ styling and you might think you'd have to be Chad Reed
to climb aboard. The reality is slightly different. The
handling is stable, manoeuvrable and 100% sweet, and an
870mm seat height means you haven't got to be a basketballer
to get two feet on the ground. |

If
there’s one word that summarises the XT250…
easy does it! It’s easy to ride, easy to own, easy
on the eye, and easy on the pocket. The XT also
switches roles easily – from inexpensive and effi
cient weekday commuter, to Sunday dirt bike, where it
surprises you and everyone around with how easily it can
get around the trails.

Like nothing you’ve ridden before, Supertrail is
an exciting new dimension in dual purpose design that
tantalisingly blends cutting edge technology with visual
beauty and an outstanding riding experience. The heart
of the concept is a new 4-valve engine with the very first
fuel-injected Yamaha on/off road engine, characterised
by exceptionally precise throttle response and power delivery
that crescendos with a wailing 10,000rpm top end.
