Obtaining a licence
Question: Am I able to buy a motorcycle or waverunner before I obtain a licence?
Answer: Yes, however you will not be able to ride your motorcycle or waverunner legally without obtaining a licence.  You will need at least a learner's permit. If you do not have a learner's permit or the bike is too big/ powerfull for you to leagally ride on a learners permit you will need someone who has a full motorcycle licence to ride the bike from Yamaha World.  In regards to riding a Waverunner, you must have a boat licence:
Question: Once I obtain a motorcycle licence, how long do I have to wait until I get my full liscence?
Answer: 1 full year, on a motorcycle not exceeding 660cc and a power to weight ratio not exceeding 150 kilowatts per tonne
 
Test Rides
Question: Can I test ride a motorcycle before I purchase one?
Answer: Depending on the availability of demonstration vehicles, you can test ride new Yamaha motorcycles, scooters etc. and waverunners.

Question: Can Yamaha World arrange finance for me?
Answer: Yes, Yamaha World has finance available for all approved clients.
Question: What information do I need to bring into Yamaha World if I am interested in obtaining finance for a purchase
Answer: You will need to bring in your licence, a recent payslip and a copy of your bank account details

Question: When is Yamaha World open for trading?
Answer:
  • 8.45am - 5.30pm Monday -  Friday
  • 8.45am - 4.00pm Saturday

Ordering Parts
Question: What information do I need to provide you with to order parts?
Answer: You will need to give the model, year and engine number of the machine.   Yamaha World will also require a deposit for parts not in stock which need to be ordered.
 
Selling Your Bike
Question: Does Yamaha World buy used bikes for cash?
Answer: Yes
Question: Does Yamaha World sell bikes on consignment?
Answer: Yes
